EDUCATION
Early Years
I was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia in 1711. I was baptized a week later. As the sixth of seven children, I had a lot to look up to when I was younger. At the age of 10, my father passed away. My wonderful mother stepped up in rasing the family - she eventually lived past 100!
Primary Education
Jesuit Collegium Regusinum
I began my studies here, spending six years acquiring basic knowledge such as grammar to advance my education to the next level. I was always regarded to be at the top of my class.
Continuing in Rome
1725-1731
When I was just 14, I traveled to Rome with two Jesuit priests. Here, I continued my Jesuit schooling.

Secondary Education
Collegium Romanum
1731-1740
At my university, which is now called The Pontifical Gregorian University, I dove deeper into the study of various mathematics as well as physics. I even discovered a way to calculate the equator of the sun based on its already calculated observations.
